the main difference between galaxy and nebula is that, nebula is a dense cloud of dust, hydrogen & helium, it naturally occur at the birth place of the stars, whereas galaxy its is made up nebula, stars, an interstellar medium of gas, and dark matter. therefore since nebula is situated inside the galaxy, it is the birth place of stars, this make s a reason why there are so many stars in a galaxy!
