A Basic Force Question?

A crate of mass 96 kg is pushed at a constant speed up a frictionless ramp (? = 29°) by a horizontal force F. The positive direction of an x axis is up the ramp, and the positive direction of a y axis is perpendicular to the ramp. (a) What is the magnitude of F?

I’m having trouble with this one. Thank you for your time.

Draw a free body diagram.
It will show you that the force down the ramp Fd by the mass is m*g*sin? = 456.1 N.
The same diagram will show that F = Fd/cos?

F = 456.1 N/cos29° = 521.48 N

F=ma (Force = Mass times Acceleration) Your mass is 96kg. The rest is trigonometry. Wish I could go back to school!
